I have been in construction since the age of 14, I tried every trade from framing to interior trim until I was 23 in 1995 when I started building homes in Fayetteville, Newnan, and Mcdonough Ga. I quickly learned that 3-6 months was entirely to long to spend with people going thru the stress involved with building a house. I began to explore different ideas and what I could do to support myself and make a life long career out of so in Jan 2000 I started A roofing company and continued building homes full time. I wanted to get the business going before jumping in completely.
In 2004 we had a tornado come through my neighborhood and I had over 20 contracts for roofing over night so I quite building homes all together. I targeted builders all over the metro Atlanta area and in 6 months I was roofing 40 homes a week, ABC supply said I was purchasing more shingles than anyone in the southeast Unites States. This continued as I grew to over 75 roofers and 6 office personnel right up until late 2006 when the housing market began to crash. I was listed in over 12 phone books and work was at a standstill. In 2008 we had a hail storm and I had several out of state companies interested in leasing my company, I settled on one and watched everything the did so I could capitalize the next time we had a storm. In 2009 we had one of the largest Hail storms Georgia had ever faced within 2 days I had 50 contracts for storm damage. Once again the out of state contractors began contacting me even the one I worked with in 2008 but I told them all No.... I had 10 salesmen and 3 office personnel in one week and from March to November we replaced over 800 roofs, through all 800.
We remained an A+ rated company with the BBB. I fixed less than a dozen leaks from that storm to todays date. I have since roofed homes in Arizona, Oklahoma, Alabama, South and North Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi. I no longer travel and now only roof homes in Georgia.
In addition to Roofing we also replace windows, siding, and gutters. From 2000-2011 we were known as ProPlus Roofing Inc, do to domestic reasons I had to rename the company to RightAngle Roofing Inc. Upon expansion I am excited to announce we are now RightAngle Roofing and Renovations.
